Serie A giants Napoli seem destined to lose Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window but the Nigerian has made a pact with the Partenopei before he departs.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Osimhen indeed will leave Napoli at the end of the season and the decision has been made. But the striker wants to give his all for the club before leaving and has made a promise to his teammates that he would make sure that the team qualifies for the Champions League and he makes sure of that before departing.
Osimhen loves the city and he wants to help the team qualify for the Champions League for the fans as well. He wants to depart the club in this way as a gesture of thanks to the club and the support that fans have given him.
The striker hasn’t scored a goal for the club at the Maradona in about four months now, with his last coming on the 16th of December 2023. He wants to put this record behind him and now that he is fit and firing, he wants to be the best that he can be and help the team one last time.
