So, Spurs are on the hunt for a potential replacement.
One of the managers Tottenham could reportedly move for is Fonseca.
The 50-year-old Portuguese boss is in charge of Lille in Ligue 1 at the moment.
According to The Times, Fonseca is likely to be in the shortlist of managers that Tottenham could approach.
The report has added that Spurs wanted to appoint the current Lille manager in 2021, but the North London club’s Managing Director of Football, Fabio Paratici, “pulled out of the deal for him” because “concerns over his playing style”.
The report has added that “Paratici’s future at the club is uncertain with the threat of a worldwide football ban for his part in financial irregularities at Juventus”, which means that the Italian may not have the final say over who replaces Conte.
Fonseca was appointed the Lille boss in the summer of 2022.
Lille are now sixth in the Ligue 1 table at the moment with 45 points from 26 matches, six points behind third-placed AS Monaco.
