Roma star Paulo Dybala’s cheap release is now active but the club is yet to offer him a renewal.

Daniele Longo has provided an update about the situation of the Argentine, who feels at home at Roma. He is currently hoping that the Giallorossi hand him a new contract, so that he can stay at the club beyond the expiry date of the summer of 2025. In fact, Dybala would also like to end his career at Roma.

But despite the player’s signals, Tiago Pinto and Roma have not made an approach for a new deal. Dybala has rejected some offers from Saudi Arabia to stay at Roma as of now, his release clause stands at only €13 million for foreign clubs. A clause does exist for Italian clubs as well but Roma can cancel that by paying a bonus of about €3 million to €5 million to the Argentine.

His future hangs in the balance, despite his intentions of staying over a long period of time.
