Roma will aim to finish the job by defending their slim lead in the Europa League quarter-final tie versus Milan tonight at the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma’s last match was suspended after defender Evan N’Dicka collapsed on the pitch. He was discharged from the hospital on Monday and a lung collapse caused the incident as tests revealed no indications of a cardiac arrest. Daniele De Rossi’s men are on a roll right now as they have lost only twice under their new manager across 16 games while winning 11. Gianluca Mancini scored on consecutive occasions, against Lazio, which earned the Giallorossi bragging rights in the Rome derby, and versus Milan in the first leg at the San Siro. Roma will have the full support of the fans tonight as they will look to keep out the visitors and progress to the next stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, Milan come into this match following a 3-3 draw at the Mapei Stadium against Sassuolo. Andrea Pinamonti and Armand Lauriente doubled the Neroverdi’s lead within the first ten minutes and goals from Rafael Leao, Luka Jovic and Noah Okafor salvaged a draw for the Rossoneri. They could hand over the league title to Inter this weekend in the Milan derby but Milan will be hoping to get back into form to spoil the party for their neighbourhood rivals. Considering tonight’s result, Stefano Pioli’s future will be decided as the Italian manager is expected to come out with a significant attacking approach.

Roma (4-3-3): Svilar; Celik, Mancini, Llorente, Angelino, Bove, Paredes, Pellegrini, El Shaarawy, Lukaku, Dybala.

Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Calabria, Thiaw, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez, Bennacer, Reijnders, Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao, Giroud.
