With guests savouring fresh pizzas by chef Simone Fortunato from Portici, Naples, the dinner was organised in collaboration with chef Ritu Dalmia. Talking about the highlights of the dinner, Italian Ambassador Vincenzo De Luca said that this event, “combines three Italian treasures recognised in the UNESCO Intangible Heritage list – the Mediterranean diet, prosecco, and the traditional art of the Neapolitan pizza chef. We are known to be very good pizza makers and we are also very good in the Mediterranean diet and wines.”
