Serie A giants Juventus seem set to have a new manager in place next season and Max Allegri’s second stint at the club will likely end soon.

The Bianconeri now find themselves in a top five race this season, having been held to a 2-2 draw by Cagliari recently and the gap between Juve and fifth-placed Roma is reducing, with the fifth place also set to be a Champions League spot this season.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported (via IlBianconero) that Juve and Allegri are heading towards an imminent separation at the end of the season. Both parties are said to have realised that it is best to not continue further, with Juve already exploring other options as manager.

Thiago Motta is one, with the former midfielder also being eyed by Milan. Juve remain in the lead and the lead is a rather significant one. Antonio Conte is currently only a suggestion for Juve, but the Italian could be interested in the return to Juve because of his previous history with the club.
