Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

Normal improvement from her first handicap attempt at Limerick might be enough to see GRACE FARADAY win a race of this standard. Padraigs Boy rates a serious threat since he was in contention when falling at the last at Cork on his handicap debut. Aodhan May has won over fences off a slightly higher mark than this and could have a big say. Zeeband seems to be improving gradually.

Having taken minor honours on soft going last term and shown this season’s improvement on good and good to soft, GOSHHOWPOSH  has something to prove in the mud but on the other hand he is very lightly raced and looks all set to find further improvement with serious tests of stamina. He’s the one to beat.

It is to be hoped that My Drogo gives a much more positive signal on this second start in his comeback, but Hititi and Mill Green are the chief threats on recent evidence, with Shallow River and Gowel Road. (tongue tied first time) also considered.

Last year’s winner Pink Legend returns but will probably be up against it if GALIA DES LITEAUX or Malina Girl are on their game. There are different questions for both of those form horses to answer but the Skelton mare arrives on the back of one of her best runs and is given the vote, with Gavin Cromwell’s Irish challenger feared most.

The principal players may be TAWTHEEF, who returned from wind surgery for a bold show over C&D 18 days ago, and the recent Wolverhampton winner Moon Over The Sea, who has his first run at this track. Stopnsearch may follow them home.
