Serie A giants Juventus are keen on a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte and are likely to hold talks for the player.

Fabiana della Valle has reported that Ugarte finds his future at PSG uncertain fairly earlier than this was potentially expected. While Luis Enrique was initially bewitched by the Uruguayan, the midfielder’s future at the Ligue 1 champions is now uncertain and he could depart in the summer.

Juve know that the futures of Adrien Rabiot and Weston McKennie are uncertain and they want to make sure that Manuel Locatelli’s defensive burden is taken off his shoulders. With that in mind, Ugarte has become a target because of his ability to recover the ball from deeper areas.

PSG know that they will not be able to recoup the 60 million they paid for him in the summer and because of that, a potential loan exit is an option. The Parisiens have already made contact with some Italian clubs – including Juve, when it comes to the midfielder. The relations between Luis Campos and Cristiano Guintoli are excellent and this could help in a potential move, if Ugarte is happy with the salary on offer.

Once Juve acquire a spot in the Champions League, they are likely to hold talks for the player with PSG and by then, the club will also have more defined about their future.
