The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, is in Rome to meet the Pope Francesco, his counterpart Sergio Mattarella and the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The head of state arrived in Italy yesterday, after the visit to Israel, accompanied by a government delegation made up of the Foreign Minister, Diana Mondino, the Interior Minister, Guillermo Francos, the Human Capital Minister, Sandra Pettovello, the general secretary of the presidency, Karina Milei, by the secretary of Worship, Francisco Sanchez and by the designated ambassador to Israel, Rabbi Axel Wahnish.

Tomorrow at 8.30 Milei and the group of officials will go to the Papal Chapel of St. Peter’s Basilica, where a greeting with Pope Francis will take place. At 9:30 they will participate in the canonization ceremony of Maria Antonia de Paz y Figueroa “Mama Antula”. On Monday at 9 am the Argentine president will be received in audience by the Pontiff. Then he will meet the Vatican Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin. Italian President Mattarella will receive the Argentine President at 13,30 pm. At 15 pm Milei will have a meeting with Prime Minister Meloni.
