The Serie A could witness something special today when Milan take on Inter in the Derby della Madonnina and it will mean everything for the Scudetto.
As of now, Inter are 14 points clear of Milan in the table and have enjoyed a rather seamless season despite being knocked out in the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid, even though they were labelled as one of the favourites for the competition.
But a win today will guarantee Inter the Scudetto that they so richly deserve, as a win will take them 17 points clear with only five games left.
Milan’s season has witnessed a recovery in recent months and some time back, they found themselves in a race for the top four. Juventus dropping points lead to Milan going past them and becoming the closest challengers to Inter’s dominance at the top of the table.
Inter’s record in the Milan derbies in recent games has been excellent and they famously knocked them out of the Champions League last season and beat them in the Supercoppa Italiana final as well.
