Gina Lollobrigida, a legendary film star in the post-World War II era known for her amazing looks and talent, has tragically passed away at the age of 95.
Her lawyer confirmed the news, citing that she passed away at a clinic in Rome, Italy, according to Reuters.
She starred opposite actors including Humphrey Bogart, Rock Hudson, Burt Lancaster, Tony Curtis and Frank Sinatra and took on roles like Esmeralda in the 19956 adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, opposite Anthony Quinn’s Quasimodo, as well as the Queen of Sheba in 1959′s Solomon and Sheba, opposite Yul Brynner’s King Solomon.
She officially retired from acting in 1997. She was also known as a photographer and sculptor.
