Genoa launch Amazon Prime documentary to celebrate 130th anniversary

Serie A side Genoa have now launched an Amazon Prime documentary that celebrates the clbu’s 130th anniversary, as the oldest football club in the country.

The Prime documentary is now available in the UK, South America and the US and is available in Italian and also has versions with Spanish and English subtitles. The documentary was shown in theatres in Italy for two weeks and it attracted about 20,000 viewers during that period. It was also the highest grossing film in the country for three days on a per-movie average basis.

Named ‘Genoa comunque e ovunque’ (Genoa anyway and everywhere) looks at the special bond between the city and the club and how it feels to support the oldest club in Italy. It features club legends such as Diego Milito, Rodrigo Palacio, Goran Pandev and Domenico Criscito.

The documentary will be promoted by the club’s players ahead of the upcoming Serie A clash against Lazio, through a special shirt.
