Today’s emotional challenges are plentiful! First, the sensitive Moon opposes communicative Mercury, making it difficult to interpret or express ourselves due to frenzied emotions and confusion. Things don’t get any easier as the Moon moves to oppose fractured Chiron, reminding us to heal emotional wounds instead of holding onto them. Yet another challenge arises when the Moon faces off with perfectionist Venus at 7:24 pm EDT, inviting a critical, clingy, and high-strung energy. Let’s search for solid ground, then go from there.


March 21 – April 19

Communication may not come easily today. You might want to express yourself to someone else, and they may want to listen, but there’s a disconnect somewhere! It’s potentially causing you to completely miss each other when it comes to communication. It’s frustrating when it feels like the other person is purposefully misunderstanding you, but it’s better to be patient with the situation rather than just throwing in the towel. The results should be worth it if you keep working to get your point across.


April 20 – May 20

Confusion might embolden you to criticize rather than problem-solve. If you don’t quite feel your best, potential problems could send you into a panic spiral. Be wary of rushing to place blame on yourself or your peers, especially if the fault actually lies in the actions of someone else who was meant to be explaining things or teaching processes to everyone. Try to be patient and stay open to learning from other sources to fill in the gaps rather than complaining or giving up.


May 21 – June 20

Tension in a group can lead to chaos. Complex group dynamic problems or unsourced gossip could be creating headaches for you, and it might get bad enough that you just want to give up before figuring out exactly what’s happening. It’s best to be honest about any fault of yours — if you really have only been a peacemaker throughout, consider stepping back and letting those who are more emotionally involved battle it out. Not every fight in your orbit is your fight.


June 21 – July 22

Authority figures in your life may have you caught in the middle of their drama. Whether these are your parents, your boss and their boss, or another two who have authority over you, their difficulties could be spilling over into your life and causing yet more problems. It’s fair to be frustrated by their troubles, but such arguments are the type of thing that you should stay out of as much as possible. Mind your business or risk being even more roped in!


July 23 – August 22

What you’re learning may not be what someone is trying to teach you. Whether you’re practicing a valuable skill or being taught about an important subject, somewhere, the wires of communication are probably getting crossed. It’s all too possible that your teacher is misspeaking or you’re mishearing — maybe they ultimately have access to bad information! Regardless of the circumstances, pay attention to what you’re learning and be sure to ask follow-up questions. That should ensure the information is coming in clearly!


August 23 – September 22

Trust can be difficult at this time. This is especially, painfully true if you’re in a situation where you must put your faith in someone else — it’ll be easier said than done. Have you been burned before, either by another peer or even by this person? Either way, whether you like it or not, you likely have to allow someone to support you. It might be making the best of a bad situation, but your words and actions can genuinely improve the outcome.


September 23 – October 22

Emotions could skew someone’s words. They might be in a hyper-emotional frenzy that’s exacerbating life’s chaos and pushing them to act out of character. They may say something in the heat of the moment that they don’t mean, or be so stressed out that they’re unintentionally short with you. It might be best to wait until they have calmed down and then address their behavior, to make sure that they know that this was hurtful to you without heightening the situation even further.


October 23 – November 21

Someone may not be telling you the whole truth. You’re more susceptible to falling for the tricks of others at present, especially those who are your hidden enemies. These people in your life could be envious, angry, or just causing chaos for the sake of chaos — regardless, you’d be wise to protect yourself against those who don’t have your best interests at heart. If you catch someone lying or trying to get you to take a dangerous risk, consider distancing yourself from them.


November 22 – December 21

Destructive behavior might get enabled by others. Be wary of the sort of peer group who are a ton of fun but don’t necessarily watch out for you. These people may be natural partiers and do this all the time, or they could be fair-weather friends who are there for you when you’re flying, but gone the moment you must land. It’s important to avoid getting sucked into bad habits right now, or you may find yourself left alone with the consequences.


December 22 – January 19

Your work/life balance might not be so balanced right now. You could be working yourself day and night in an effort to further your career or fulfill all your responsibilities. On the other hand, perhaps you’re shying away from difficult tasks by distracting yourself with fun when you know you should be working. It’s important to have a balance, or you’re going to start to put too much stress on yourself, on either side of the spectrum. Work hard and play hard!


January 20 – February 18

This isn’t the time to say everything you’re thinking. You could be feeling more impulsive or frustrated in a way that pushes you to criticize yourself or others as a way to express these feelings. While it’s good to be honest, not everything needs to be said out loud! Sometimes you’ll get better results by keeping a positive outlook even when it seems like there’s little to be thankful for. The more that you appreciate the silver lining, the brighter it can shine for you.


February 19 – March 20

Past wounds could be cropping up in the present. You might be weeks, months, even years past an incident that still causes you stress. Are you still repeating the events in your head or imagining your life if you had made a different choice right then and there? While it’s understandable to want some closure, it may not arrive the way you want it to. Do your best to create closure through meditating, journaling, or talking with someone who can understand you.
